Mondays 1-2pm
Lifelong photographer Matthew Mccornack will be leading this photography offering. Open to all ages and all camera’s. Bring what you have and learn to make the most of it. Matthew will cover the basics and support youth to explore their unique perspectives and the learn skills to meet whatever their goals are.

At Meraki our offerings are always optional and always there are always emerging activities. We do our best to keep update this page to keep the community informed of all the opportunities as they solidify on the schedule.
Tuesdays 10:30am
Youth will join outsider artist and facilitator Brooklyn in this exploration of art and theater. Shadow puppets, Junk puppets, marionettes, giant paper Mache, we will decide together what to make and what kind of show to put on.
Writing Group
Tuesdays, noon-1pm
Explore writing in a fun, encouraging, creative environment. Engage through prompts, free writing time, and working on individual projects. Facilitators will rotate hosting this time to write and share.
Media Studies
Thursdays 11am
Meraki Youth led offering exploring media and cultural criticism. Recommended for 13+ but open to all ages.
Dungeons and Dragons
Time & Day TBD.
Come make characters and play in an ongoing Dungeons and Dragons adventure! Bria will be starting out as the DM (Dungeon Master, who runs the game), and youth are welcome to take a turn DM’ing if they want. D&D is a great game to play together whether you are brand new to it or you’ve been playing for years.
